Tiger Town--found a great deal on Ebay, I've been looking for years, no luck finding it in the wild.
Going Ape--rare early Paramount release
Slime City--Isn't everything from Camp Video worth over $60? Luckily this was in the wild.
Coast to Coast--Robert Blake's stuff is a bit tarnished. Who knew Dyan Cannon had a kid with Cary Grant?
Peter and the Wolf--Walt Disney Mini Classics, one of the easier to find and yet decently valuable VHS tapes out there.

Sometimes I go to this used bookstore in town that also sells VHS tapes. When I went there a couple of days ago I found:

1. Sleeping Beauty (Fully Restored Limited Edition. It still had the comemmorative booklet inside.)
2. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
3. The Best of the Muppet Show--Mark Hamill, Paul Simon, Raquel Welch (I wasn't expecting to find this since I believe the best of the Muppet Show collection was originally distributed by Time Life Video. I'm guessing it's out of print? Anyway this copy was apparently distributed by Columbia Tristar Home Entertainment.)

In Search of Character: Honesty
Some kind of high school science video from LPB about the kinetic molecular theory
A pre-recorded MGM-grade VHS with Heart of Dixie (1989) and an A&E documentary about Beethoven. Also contains an episode of Northern Exposure. The former two were recorded sometime in November 1998, and the latter sometime in December 1997.

The 60s (late 1990s NBC miniseries, single tape version)
Turk 182 (cut box rental sadly, as I love the CBS FOX cardboard box designs)
Home recorded November 1998 PBS primetime block: American Experience: 1900, Are You Being Served, Charlie Rose episode

As an aside, if anyone has Wrestling, American Experience episodes, or any sports stuff I'd love it if you uploaded them into the database, it seems there isnt much of that on there now. I'll dig out some of my own to fill the gaps.

I got 4 RCA/Col tapes, 6 CBS/Fox tapes, and 2 early WHV clamshells.  I also got The Beerdrinker's Guide to Fitness and Filmmaking which looks fun.

It seems I can't find any horror and very few scifi in my area. I don't know if it's the area (rural bible belt) or because it's all gone.  I found Abraxus today and that was the first low budget scifi or horror I've found since scouring Goodwills and Flea Markets.

I keep seeing the early Disney Clamshells like Blackbeard's Ghost and have to keep myself from buying them. I collect enough stuff I don't need to start on Disney VHSs.

You should definitely pick up the early Disney clamshells, as they are worth a decent amount in money or trade.

I got a bunch of recorded off TV late 1970s/early 1980s VHS tapes, and man they weigh a ton!  They are much more sturdy than the cheaper plastic VHS tapes.

I found these at Goodwill and Traderbakers.

Total Recall still sealed.  Beverly Hills Cop and the VHS cleaner are UK releases.  Pretty amazed to find those in a southern Indiana Goodwill

I found these at a local second hand/antique store. A lot of recorded tapes. The raspy-voiced old lady that ran it smoked a lot so the place had that familiar smell from my youth.

Nice clamshell finds dmbjunky.  Any sports or wrestling on the recorded tapes?

Bought 200 something tapes from a large sale that was happening at a local thrift store at only .10 per.  Lots of rarities not yet on DVD like Poison Ivy (Michael J Fox flick), vintage cartoon releases, and lots of odd packaging (book boxes, clamshells, early 80s Paramount releases, etc.).  I was very happy with my finds for about $22 total only!

The one clamshell says something about Chiefs but the tape wasn't inside.  I got a tape from parents where we recorded a Niners Broncos game and another with Super Bowl XXV. I don't think there any wrestling tapes. I wish there was.

I watched Caged Heat 2 tonight.  A small amount of boobs, no gore, and a lot of horrible acting.

I also got a recorded TV tape of two episodes of Davis Rules with Roseanne in between.  It's kind of fun to try to figure out when they were recorded from the commercials.  This one was March 5, 1991.
