Most Recently Watched Horror Film

I just watched Cutting Class (1989). Early Brad Pitt role! It was alright. I was really surprised to hear Andy Prieboy in the soundtrack.

I just saw The House That Screamed, a foreign slasher flick from 1969. It was great!

Just today watched Silent Night, Bloody Night. Interesting little movie, unfortunately the picture quality was pretty poor.

Not really a horror, but tries to be a horror parody of sorts, Rubber.

Trilogy of Terror (1st time I've seen it in like 10 years)

BUT if you count first time viewing, most recent film I saw was C.H.U.D. and man I was blown away with how good it was. I wasnt expecting much though so that probably helped.

Watched both versions of The Haunting (1963 & 1999) last night. Interesting to compare the two. Nearly the same story with almost the same charactors. Not sure which I preffer, both have their own merits. There were a few stark differences that were curious. In the original, the doors in the house closed themselves silently without people noticing. In the remake they keep slamming in peoples faces. Is this scarier? Or was it just an excuse for loud sound effects? I do like the concept of the original more, being that it's about trying to prove the paranormal and 'failing', rather than having the paranormal prove itself with no one asking if it exists.
