Video Stores in Movies

What movies can you think of that have scenes set in video stores? Whether they are set in mom & pop stores or a chain store does not matter.

Here are some from the top of my head:Remote Control (1988)Serial MomThe Dark Side (1987)Final Cut (1989) (South African film)Zombie Brigade (While this movie doesn't have a scene in a video store, it does show the front exterior of a video store)Robot Ninja500 Days of Summer (There's a scene at a Half Price Books store, if that counts)The Creeps (1997)Scream (1996)The Dead Next DoorBlood MassacreVideo Violence (And I think the 2nd one too)Clerks (1994)Take Me Home TonightThe Lost World: Jurassic ParkPump Up the VolumeMurial's WeddingScanners 2 (The convinence store in the robbery scene has a video rental section)More to come.

That pretty much covers all I can think of, but to add a TV show (that has at least 10 episodes that apply to this topic):

Parker Lewis Can't Lose

Parker's dad (played by Timothy Stack) owns a video store, many episodes were contained within the whole store, and you see stacks of mid 80s RCA 4 sided boxes, as well as many CBS FOX releases, plus lots of late 80s and early 90s video game nostalgia, Genesis, Nintendo, Game Gear, etc.  Surprisingly they didnt use dummy boxes either.

On the topic of TV shows, here's a few:Seinfeld (The Stakeout, The Smelly Car, The Couch and The Comeback have scenes in at various video stores in NYC)One episode of Married with Children from S9, which even had a poster (or VHS box, can't remember) for Dutch, with Ed O'Neill's face and credit obscured on said poster, or video box.The Season 7 Diagnosis Murder episode The Unluckiest Bachelor in LA

Even one episode of Goosebumps had a scene at a video store. I forget which one though.

Misery (At the very least, the General Store in that movie has a video rental section)

Regarding General Store VHS rental sections, the General Store with video rentals was a big part of Northern Exposure, there was one character who was a huge classic film nerd so they go on tangents about Hitchcock and Bergman often.

One episode of the original Beverly Hills 90120 I caught on the Style Network in 2004 (Don't judge me!) had a scene set in a video store. Notably a Disney display/Disney section had the most screen time, if memory serves.

Also, I suppose Be Kind Rewind is defintely another example of a video store in a movie.
