I've got about 120 tapes to add, and thats just since when the site stopped taking submissions in like May. I've still got about 30 pending also. One of the tapes i found this summer was a documentary manufactured by the Eastman Chemical Comany for their 75th anniversary.

Other pending submissios include:

12 volumes of Have Gun, Will Travel

Clamshell of King Kong vs. Godzilla

Clamshell of Yogi's Fist Christmas

10 plus of the original Disney clamshells

The Jetsons Meet the Flintsones

9 hard clamshell documentaries and about the same number of slipcases (one of these is docs is of the Mt. St. Helens eruption. no print date but probably from the mid 80s)

Fox Video print of Wizards

Hard clamshell version of the Outlaw Josey Sales (special edition)

Funny, I've got Day of the Triffids to scan, and two copies of The Abyss submitted but not yet online. One of the Abyss releases is a special rental version with a neat front fold-out case:

I just watched "The Angry Gun", a release distributed in Australia by "FORTBACON PTY. LTD." of Il ritorno di Ringo (The Return of Ringo) AKA Blood at Sundown. It's fun looking these things up online after watching them, I didn't even realise it was a sequel! There seems to have been some pretty rough cuts made to it at some point, but the fight scene at the end was enough to forgive all. Certainly one to scan, and probably clean, because it smells like the previous owner lived in a public toilet...

I also started on scanning in my collection of Doctor Who VHS tapes before the submissions were cut. That's over 70 tapes in itself.

Too many to list...

I also have a lot scanned, cropped, & ready to go.

BTW

What's the policy with vhs spines? Should I be scanning both when the art is different? I have been, but will the new site handle this? Did this one? I forget...

@Nivek From memory, the upload page allowed you to submit both spines, but said not to do so if they were both identical. There are some tapes where both are shown, here's one.

@Hightower My Day of the Triffids release is from "Hollywood House Video" (it has "VDI" on the tape sticker) in 1990, an Australian distributor by the looks of it. It claims "Behind the Scene Special-Effects!" which I can't quite remember. I think it was some stills followed by a fairly unrelated documentary about special effects in movies of the time.

A lot. Even titles I'm surprised aren't on there already. Like Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, What About Bob?, the US release of American Psycho (unrated) Here are 40 of the 150-ish titles that I plan to submit, unless someone beats me to it.

3. Team America: World Police

4. Zoolander

5. Spawn (R-Rated Director's Cut)

13. Magnum Force (Warner clamshell)

14. East of Eden (Warner clamshell)

15. Chariots of Fire (Warner clamshell)

16. The World According to Garp (Warner clamshell)

17. Ruckus (Paragon, alternate cover)

18. The Exorcist (small WB, 1986)

29. The Devil's Rejects

30. Saw

31. Midnight Express (1981 CPHE slipcase)

Cool! I hope to see it eventually. I came here at the right place at the wrong time. One can only wait for so long. Half a year! Anyway, signing out for a while and will be checking in time again.
