Why are my submissions not showing up?

I am new to this website so this might be an obvious question, but my various submissions are not showing up when I search them, why is this?
Also, why can I edit cover pictures for other's submission but not my own?

Thanks.

All new submissions must be approved by the website owner. It all depends on how busy he is. I also have a bunch of submissions waiting to be approved. Just wait they're still in the system and haven't gone anywhere.

I have a couple submissions pending approval for days now, and posted another one yesterday.

Sorry for the delay folks. I've been trying to focus on getting some additional work done on the site.

If you don't see your submissions appearing it could be because the images are of poor quality or I just haven't gotten to it yet. For new users submitting content, it's HIGHLY recommended that you get a flatbed scanner to scan the images. In all my experience doing this, its incredibly difficult to take decent flat photos of covers as they often result in skewed and out of focus images. Your best bet is a flatbed scanner. I really hate rejecting submissions because every little bit helps, but there has to be a some standard of quality. This is what separates this site from others. You can get a flatbed scanner for as cheap as 50 bucks (even less for older ones).

Thanks for the patience guys!

PLEASE make sure your tapes are straight on the scanner when you scan them, the pictures look terrible when the tapes are not straight especially the spine pictures

I've been taking pictures for my submissions, and for my recent ones, I use a clear glass table to stabilize them.

I've been waiting 3 months on a new submission I made in December. I do have a flatbed scanner and they were scanned photos, but when I submitted them, the page was all jumbled and the photos were huge, I thought it was just an issue on my end but it was never approved. I scan my tape cases at 300dpi now.

Over the past three months, the website's moderation/revisions system has been going through a dramatic overhaul. During that time, I haven't been approving scans regularly in hopes that the system would be ironed out but as it turns out, it opened a whole can of worms on the development side. However, over the past couple of days, I have been approving scans the old fashion way which has been causing the site to crash. Nonetheless, they are being approved. It should be noted that they are being approved out of order. So if you don't see new scans pop up on the home page, you have to click back a few pages to see recently approved ones. They are sorted by submission date, not "published" state. Sorry folks!

I got an error when viewing the page, I don't know if that's me or you guys: "Warning: array_flip(): Can only flip STRING and INTEGER values! in DrupalDefaultEntityController->load() (line 175 of /var/www/html/vhscollector.com/includes/entity.inc)."
