Additional Information
Additional Information
Release Date: September, 1984
Distrib: Atlantic Releasing
Atlantic Releasing was a distributor of foreign and independent films from the 60s. Around the same time New World Pictures and American International (as Orion) revamped and started a slate of 15-25 movies a year of all genres, so did Atlantic. It searched for movies with broad appeal that they could exploit.
In 1985 they hit paydirt with TEEN WOLF. But, that was its only hit. VAMPING barely was released in theaters, and remains Patrick Duffy's only starring role in a feature film, of which he appeared in less than half a dozen.
Atlantic split its VHS licensing between Paramount and Key,with Key getting the more arty output.
Trivia: Which Atlantic film was a TV sex symbols chance at respectability after starring in 3 flop movies which all started with the same letter of the alphabet? Name the star and her 3 flop movies?
DALLAS' star Larry Hagman directed a sequel to a cult film. When DALLAS' most important episode aired , this film was re-released to theaters with the poster tagline with a twist on "Who shot JR?" to "The film JR shot". Name this movie?
