Because I've been sick for the past month, I haven't had the time to address the pending submissions. They've really added up. As I recover, I hope to review them. When I finish with what is pending, I'll open submissions again.
Also, new users have to be aware that covers need to be cropped or they will not be approved. As I've said before, I hate rejecting so many scans because of this, but I really have no choice. Everyone should read the rules on the submission page and watch the scanning video.
As many of you have noticed, the website has had some issues starting since the beginning of the year. I have spent so much of my own money to try to rectify these issues, but the best option right now is to have the site rebuilt from the bottom up, but still using the same databases. This means all the data will remain - covers, user accounts, lists, etc. In order to do this, I need to raise a significant sum to pay developers. This site isn't a simple database site, but rather has many unique functions that need to be coded. For these reasons, I plan to start a new Kickstarter or Indiegogo campaign to raise the funds. As soon as I get better, I'll will be shooting a promo video. If anyone has any ideas for perks, please share them. The most difficult part of crowdfunding for a website is that the content is already free, there's not incentive for people to contribute.
So again, if you guys have any ideas on how to raise money for the development of a new site, please share below!
