Based on a true story, this film follows a group of German students in Munich who formed a group called "The White Rose," aimed at informing the German people of the atrocities that were being committed in the Nazi concentration camps. However, when the Gestapo discover what the students have been up to, their quest may prove deadly. This film is in German with English subtitles.

Die Weiße Rose (The White Rose) is a 1982 CCC Film production about the White Rose resistance to the Nazi authorities led by a group of University students in Munich in 1942-1943 whose members were caught and executed in February 1943, shortly after the German capitulation at Stalingrad. The film pre-dates, by two decades, the film, Sophie Scholl: The Final Days.
