Additional Information
Additional Information
She uses her body like they use power. To seduce , betray and destroy.
A bored banker (Ray Sharkey) falls in lust with the wife (Ornella Muti) of an industrialist (Klaus Kinski) who has hired him to influence his childhood friend (Armand Assante) — now a leftist dictator of a South American country.
Release Date: February 12 , 1982 @ the 57th St. playhouse, Manhattan
Distrib: Paramount Pictures
Boxoffice: $14,009
Lorimar Pictures had a deal with United Artists to distribute their films in 1979/1980. Except for the modest boxoffice of THE FISH THAT SAVED PITTSBURGH, the deal was a loser and UA dropped its option.
Paramount, seeing a potential hit in a little film called AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN, SEIZED the oppurtunity. This new slate of films -as seen by LOVE & MONEYs paltry take, other than OFFICER , was also disastrous.
Trivia: This wasnt the first time United Artists passed on a film that Paramount later released. This was a Best Picture nominee that is now considered a classic from the 70s. Name this film?
Which Oscar did it win?
Paramount later passed on a film the UA released , by the same director of the film in question above. Name this flop and its director?
Which Lorimar film did Paramount release that was promoted for a big Oscar winning star doing her first nude scene?
