Night Watch (1973)

Additional Information

Additional Information
Elizabeth Taylor had 3 movies out the year she turned 40. All were flops, and one-ASH WEDNESDAY-is considered one of the worst movies of all time by many. The others that opened in 1973 were UNDER MILK WOOD in January and this sleeper from Avco Embassy on August 8th at New Yorks famed Radio City Music Hall.

Despite decent reviews-the New York Times liked it-it was not a success. Recently released by the Warner Archives (WB owns the Brut library of which NIGHT WATCH was produced), its beautiful , gothic box art -a recreation of the poster-was not the norm for distrib Magnetic, which usually had a still from the movie replacing the poster.

Trivia: Name these other 3 70s movies starring Elizabeth Taylor. 1) The first Russian/US coproduction of a film? B)A famed musical in which she sang a song that became a hit for singer Judy Collins? and C)A wordless cameo in a controversial movie?
